مسی

िमःसी missī, or िमसी misī[Prk. िमिःसआ; S. िमिौताor िमौ+इका, lit.'a mixture, or compound'], s.f. A powder (composed of yellow myrobalan, gall-nut, ironfilings, vitriol, etc.) used for tinging the teeth of a black colour:—misī-dān, s.m. A box (of gold, silver, or other metal) for holding missī:—missī-kājal karnā, To apply missīto the teeth and kājalor 'lamp-black' to the eyes, to beautify oneself:—missī-kīdhaṛījamānā, or missī-lagānā, or missīmalnā(-meṅ), To mark lines with missī(on the teeth); to apply, or to rub, missi (to, or on, the teeth).
