محتسب

mǒḥtasib (act. part. of احتسب 'to reckon upon a reward'; 'to include (a thing) in a numbering or reckoning,' viii of حسب 'to number,' etc.), s.m. A reckoner, calculator;—the inspector of the markets, and of the weights and measures, etc.; the superintendent of the police, who examines weights, etc., and prohibits unlawful games, drinking, and the like; a censor.
