mujāhada, s.m. = P مجاهدت mujāhadat, s.f. (for A. مجاهدة mujāhadat, inf. n. of جاهد ; see mujāhid), Striving; endeavour, strenuous effort or exertion;—fighting (esp. against infidels, in defence of the faith).
