लेखन lekhan, s.m. Scratching, scraping;—scarifying;—writing, copying; a writing (in this sense, also fem. in Hindī), scripture;—a kind of birch (the bark of which is used for writing on in Naipāl and Upper India):—lekhan rūpī, s.f. Method of writing (i.e. by figures or letters; whereas likhansimply means 'writing').
