لپیٹنا

लपेटना lapeṭnā(caus. of lapaṭnaor lipaṭnā, q.v.; for eṭ, cf. S. ćapeṭaand ćapaṭa), v.t. To roll up; to roll or wrap (round, -par), to wind or twine (round), tofurl; to wrap up, to enwrap, to envelop; to cover by wrapping round; to fold, coil, enclose, pack; to involve, implicate;—to smear, to spread (over, -par):—lapeṭ-denā, and lapeṭ-lenā, v.t. intens. of and=lapeṭnā.
