कहां kahāṅ[prob. S. िकं+ःथाने; H. kethān], pron. adv. Where? whither?:—kahāṅ-par, Where? at what place?—kahāṅ-tak or talak, kahāṅ-lag, or kahāṅ-loṅ, How far? how long? to what degree?:—kahāṅ-se, Whence? how? by what means?:—kahāṅ-kā, Of or belonging to what place?:—kahāṅ-kā-kahāṅ, To what a degree! extremely, intensely;—from where to where; what a distance! ever so far; now here now there:—kahāṅ—kahān, Where (this)—where (that)?; how distant or how different is (this) from (that)! how littleis (this) consistent with that! (e.g. kahāṅrājāBhoj kahāṅGangātelī;—cf. Pers. kujā—kujā).
