खट्टा khaṭṭā[S. शट+कः], adj. (f. -ī), Acid, sour, tart, harsh;—s.m. (local) A citron:—khaṭṭā-ćūk, adj. Very sour:—khaṭṭā-sā, adj. (f. -ī), Sourish, acetous; very sour:—khaṭṭā-sāg, s.m.
