खोपड़ी khopaṛī, vulg. khopṛī[Prk. खप्पर+इआ; S. कपर् र+इका], s.f. The skull, pate, sconce; the brain-pan; a shell:—khoprī-kāhāḍ, Skull-bone:—khoprīkhā-jānā(-kī), 'To devour (one's) skull or brains'; to eat (one's) head off; to torment, worry, plague; to spend or lavish the property (of another):—khoprīganjīkarnāor kardenā(-kī), To beat (one's) skull bare or bald; to beat or cudgel severely:—khoprī-meṅsurākh karnā(-kī), To make a hole in the skull (of); to trepan.
