kalma (for A. كلمة kalimat; see kalām), s.m. A word, speech, saying, discourse; a vocable, part of speech; the Mohammadan confession of faith (i.e. lāilāha illa`l-lāh, etc., 'There is no god but God,' etc.):—kalma paṛhānā(-ko), To make (one) repeat the (Muslim) confession of faith, to convert (one) to Mohammadanism, to make a Musalmān of (one):—kalma paṛhnā, To repeat the (Muslim) confession of faith;—to acknowledge the superiority (of); to say what another says, to follow servilely, to swear (by):—kalma-ě-zabānī, Word of mouth:—kalma-ě-kufr, Blasphemous word or speech, blasphemy, profanity:—kalme-kīunglī, The forefinger:—kalma-go, s.m.
