कृत kr̤ita, vulg. kr̤it (rt. कृ), part. (f. -ā), Done, made, accomplished, performed; prepared, made ready; composed; well done, perfect; proper, fit, good;—adv. Quite done, completely finished;—s.m. The first of the four ages of the world (=kr̤ita-yug, and satya, qq.v.);—a symbol for the number four (in Hindūpoetry);—s.f. Consequence, result, fruit:—kr̤itārth (˚ta+ar˚), s.m. The fulfilment of (one's) wishes, accomplishment or realization of a purpose; the discharge of a duty; success; satisfaction; the granting of a supplication;—adj. & s.m. Having accomplished a purpose or desire, having attained an object, having discharged a duty; successful; satisfied, contented;—one who has attained an end or object, etc.:—kr̤itārthatva, s.m. (f. -tā), Accomplishment of an object, success (=kr̤itārth):—kr̤itānt (˚ta+an˚), adj. & s.m. Causing an end, bringing to an end;—a name of Yama, the god of death:—kr̤itānjali (˚ta+an˚), adj. Joining (or one who joins) the hands in reverence to solicit a favour, etc. (keeping the palms from touching, as if to hold alms or an offering):—kr̤ita-jna, vulg. kritagya, adj. & s.m. (f. -ā), Mindful of former aid or favours, grateful;—a grateful person:—kr̤ita-jna-tva, vulg. kritagyatva, s.m. (f. -tā), Gratitude, thankfulness:—kr̤it-sambandh, adj. Made by relationship:—kr̤itu-kārya, or kr̤ita-karmā, adj. & s.m. Who has done his work or duty, or who has accomplished an undertaking, successful; clever, able, skilful;—one who has done his work, etc., a successful person; a skilful person, etc.:—kr̤ita-kr̤itya, adj. Who has accomplished a purpose, successful; contented, satisfied (=kr̤itārth); clever:—kr̤ita-ghna, vulg. kr̤itaghan, kr̤itaṅgh, adj. & s.m. Destroying (or undoing) that which has been done (for one), unmindful of services rendered or benefits conferred, ungrateful, returning evil for good;—an ungrateful person, etc.:—kr̤itaghna-tva, s.m. kr̤ita-ghna-tā, or kr̤ita-ghna-tā`ī, s.f. Ingratitude:—kr̤ita-ghna-dosh, s.m. The sin of ingratitude:—kr̤ita-ghnī, adj. & s.m. = kr̤itaghna:—kr̤ita-māl, s.m. A species of animal;—the tree Cassia fistula:—kr̤ita-nindak= kr̤itaghna, q.v.:—krita-yug, s.f. The first of the four ages of the world (=kr̤ita), the golden age.
