काछा kāćhā[Prk. कच्छोand कच्छओ; S. कक्षःand कक्ष+कः], s.m. A cloth worn round the hips, passing between the legs, and tucked in behind (syn. dhotī; langoṭī); short drawers (reaching a little way down the thighs); the upper part of the thigh; the buttocks, posteriors (cf. kāćh):—kāćhābāṅdhnāor kāćhākasnā, v.n. To put on, or to tie up, a kāćh; to cover the privities:—kāćh kāćhnā, v.n. To wear a kāćh; (met.) to play a part:—kāćh kholnā(-par), To open the kāćh; to outrage modesty; to copulate (with):—kāćh mārnā, v.n. To bind on, or tie up, the kāćh (=kāćh bīṅdhnā, and kāćhnā).
