qanā’at, incorr. qinā’at (for A. قناعة , inf. n. of قنع 'to be content,' etc.), s.f. Content, contentment; resignation; tranquillity;—abstinence; ability to do without:—qanā’at karnā(-par), To be contented (on, or with), be satisfied (with), to content oneself (with).
