fauj, s.f. A crowd (of men, etc.), a multitude, a host, an army:—fauj-ě-baḥrī, s.f. A fleet, navy (opp. to fauj-ě-barrī, 'land forces'):—fauj bhartīkarnā, To enlist recruits, to fill up an army:—fauj-dār, s.m.
