Sorrowful, grieved, afflicted, sad:—g̠am-tarāsh, adj. Sorrow-cutting, removing or dispelling grief, etc.:—g̠am-ḵẖẉār, adj. & s.m. 'Devouring sorrow'; afflicted, sorrowful, sad;—commiserating, pitying, condoling, sympathetic; one who commiserates, or condoles, or sympathizes (with), a consoler, comforter; a sympathetic or intimate friend:—g̠am-ḵẖẉārak, s.m. A heron; a bittern:—g̠am-ḵẖẉāragī, or g̠am-ḵẖẉārī, s.f.
