عقیدہ

’aqīda, s.m. = P عقیدت ’aqīdat, s.f.(for A. عقیدة , v.n. fr. عقد 'to tie,' etc.; see ’aqd), A belief, faith, firm persuasion; a creed; an article of belief; a doctrine; a religious tenet:—’aqīdatmand, adj. Having firm belief or faith, being firmly persuaded; faithful, believing:—bad-’aqīda, adj. Unbelieving, sceptical.
