afa (for A. صفحة , fr. صفح afu, inf. n. of صفح 'to turn the side of the face towards'), s.m. Face, surface; page, leaf (of a book):—afa-ě-hastī, s.m. The page of existence; the face ofthe world or earth:—afa-e-hastī-se nām-o-nishān miānā(kisī-ke), To wipe out (or toobliterate) all trace (of one) from off the face of the earth; to annihilate.
