شیعہ

shī`a (for A. شیعة shī`at, v.n. fr. شیع 'to follow,' etc.), s.m. A particular party or sect who follow `Alī(affirming that he was the rightful Imām after Moammad); a follower of the sect of 'Alī; a sectary (opp. to sunnī).
