shamla (for A. شملة shamlat, v.n. fr. شمل 'to include'; 'to cover or envelop,' etc.), s.m. The worked or embroidered end of a turban or kamar-band (sometimes tucked in the folds, and sometimes left flying loose);—a narrow kind of shawl (for tying round the waist or the head).
