ँमशान śmaśān, s.m. A place where corpses are burnt or buried, a burning-ground, crematory; cemetery,burial-ground, sepulchre:—śmaśān-vāsī, adj. & s.m. (f. -inī), Dwelling in cemeteries;—an epithet of Śiva; a ghost, goblin, sprite.
