शऽु śatru, s.m. & f. An enemy adversary, foe:—śatru-bhāvor bhā`o, s.m. A hostile disposition, enmity;—adj. & adv. Of a hostile or quarrelsome disposition;—like an enemy, as bad as an enemy:—śatru-ghna, and śatru-han, adj. & s.m. (f. -ī), Enemy-slaying;—foe-slayer, hosticide;—śatru-ghna, s.m. Name of one of the brothers of Rām.
