शाकल śākal, s.m. Name of a school of the Rig-veda (supposed to have been founded by the elder Śākalya);—s.f. A mixture of sesasum seeds, barley, ghī, coarse sugar, fruits, etc., used by Hindūs in oblations to the gods.
