سیخ

sīḵẖ, s.f. A skewer; a spit; any long thin piece of metal; a piece of iron (about a cubit long) with which faqīrs pierce their necks and cheeks:—sīḵẖ-par lagānā(-ko), To put on the spit; to roast;—(met.) to burn, inflame:—sīḵẖ-pā, adj. & s.m. Rearing (a horse);—a rearer.
