ःवदेश sva-deś, s.m. Own country, native country; one's own place, proper place; home:—svadeśānurāg, s.m. and svadeśānurāgatā, s.f. (˚śa+anu˚), Passion for one's own country, patriotism:—svadeśānurāg, and svadeśānuragī, s.m. One who loves his native land, a patriot:—svadeś-tyāg, s.m. Forsaking or quitting one's native country, emigration, voluntary exile:—svadeś-tyāgī, s.m. (f. -inī), One who quits his own country, an emigrant, a voluntary exile.
