sidra (for A. سدرة sidrat, q.v.), s.m. The lote-tree:—sidra-ě-t̤ūbā, s.m. The lote-tree of Paradise:—sidra-nishīnān, s.m. The angels:—t̤ā`ir-ě-sidra, s.m. 'The bird of the lote-tree' (of the Seventh Heaven), a name of the angel Gabriel.
