सांटना sāṅṭnā(caus. of saṅṭnā= saṭnā, q.v.], v.t. To stick, cause to adhere or cohere, to gum, paste; to join, unite; to combine; to join threads, to splice; to twist (rope, etc.); to weave; to attach (a person) to oneself, win (one) over or away (from):—sāṅṭ-lenā, v.t. intens. of and=sāṅṭnā.
