ساقی

sāqī(for A. ساقٍ sāqiṉ, act. part. of سقی 'to give (water, etc.) to drink'), s.m. One who gives to drink, cup-bearer, page; (in India) one who gets ready and brings the ḥuqqa:—sāqiyā, O cup-bearer.
