دهرو

ीुव dhruv, adj. Fixed, firm, immovable, stable, enduring, constant, lasting, permament; certain, sure, true, right;—s.m. The polar star, the north pole (personified in mythology as son of Uttāna-pāda and grandson of the first Manu); name of one of the twenty-seven astronomical Yogas; a name of Vishnu, and of others;—permanence, fixedness, etc.:—dhruv-pad, s.m.=dhur-pad, q.v.s.v. dhur:—dhruv-tārā, s.m. The polar star:—dhruv-lok, s.m. (in Myth.) One of the divisions of paradise.
