धाड़ना dhāṛnā, and दहाड़ना dahāṛnā[dhāṛ˚= Prk. धाड(इ)=S. ीाड(ते), rt. ीाɬ(adopted fr. the Prk.; prob. a denom. of ीƴp.p.p. of ीज् 'to glide, flow)], v.t. To send forth, pour forth, pour out; to shed, etc. to cast (metal in fusion), to mould, etc. (see ḍhālnā, the more com. form);—to roar, to bellow, to thunder (in this sense usually dahāṛnā; cf. ḍakārnā).
