دهام

धाम dhāma, vulg. dhām (rt. धा), s.m. Dwelling-place, house, abode, home, residence, place; paradise, heaven; splendour, etc. (see dhāman); name of a class of superhuman beings:—dhāma-da, vulg. dhāmad, adj. & s.m. Heaven-giving;—a person by whom, or the means by which, paradise is obtained:—dhāmavat, dhāma-vant, dhām-vān, adj. Splendid, luminous; eminent, exalted, illustrious, heroic.
