diqqat (for A. دقة , inf. n. of دقّ 'to be slender,' etc.; with amplification of signification), s.f. A minute or subtle thing, knotty or nice point; delicate matter; difficulty; abstruseness, intricacy; trouble, perplexity, difficulty, distress;—diligence, close application, industry; accuracy:—diqqat-shinās, adj. Understanding subtleties, etc.; penetrating; discerning; quick of apprehension:—diqqatmeṅpaṛnā, To fall into difficulties, get into trouble, be in distress.
