ḥashr (inf. n. of حشر 'to collect'), s.f. Gathering, meeting, congregation, concourse; the resurrection;—commotion, tumult, noise (such as that of the resurrection); wailing, lamentation:—ḥashr barpākarnā, ḥashr toṛna, To raise a great commotion, make a dreadful noise; to weep and wail aloud:—ḥashr-ḵẖirām, adj. Making a stir, exciting a great commotion (a woman) by the elegance of her gait:—yaumu`l-ḥashr, s.m. The day of resurrection.
