جھٹكنا

झटकना jhaṭaknā[jhaṭak˚= Prk. झटक्क(इ) or झटक्के(इ), fr. S. झट+कृ], v.t. To pull with a jerk, to jerk, touse, twitch; to snatch, snap, wrench; toshake (a cloth, etc.);—v.n. To be shaken, pulled down (as by sickness), to fall off (in flesh), to become lean or thin:—jhaṭakjānā, v.n.=jhaṭaknā:—jhaṭak-lenā, v.t. To snatch or jerk away:—jhaṭke-kāmāl, s.m. Plunder, booty.
