ताम्बु वत jāmbuvat, जाम्बवत jāmbavat, s.m. Name of the chief of the bears who, with the monkeys, was an ally of Rāma (and therefore sometimes called a monkey: he was a son of Pitāmahaand father of Jāmbavatī).
