تیج

तीज tīj [Prk. तइज्जी; S. तृ तीया], s.f. The third day of a lunar fortnight; a festival held on the third day of the lunar fortnight of the month Sāwan;—the red-velvet insect (=bīr-bahuṭṭī), the lady-bird (so called, probably, because of its appearance in Bhādoṇ):—tīj-te`ohār, s.m. A festival;—presents suitable on the occasion of a festival (=tīr-te`ohār).
