تہذیب

tahẕīb [inf. n. ii of هذب 'to prune; to clean,' etc.], s.f. Purifying; adjusting, adorning; correcting, amending; correction, amendment, edification, refinement, polish:—tahẕīb-ě-aḵẖlāq, s.f. Civilization, good breeding, etc.:—tahẕīb-yāfta, adj. Refined, polished, polite, educated, civilized.
