तड़ाक taṛāk [S. तड+क+rt. कृ], s.f. Sound of the snapping, bursting, or cracking, etc. of a body or thing; sound of a stroke or blow; crack, crash, whack, etc. (see next):—taṛāk-paṛāk, adv. In quick succession, quickly, rapidly; without delay or hesitation, readily, at once:—taṛāk-se, adv. With a crack or crash, with a report; noisily, boisterously, rudely; without hesitation, smartly, quickly.
