talḵẖ[prob. fr. Zend thwareś: cf. tursh], adj. Bitter, acrid; rancid; punsent; unpalatable; acrimonious. malicious; sad, sorrowful:—talḵẖ-dāna, s.m. Darnel, tares:—talḵẖ-rū, adj.
