ta`aiyunāt, vulg. ta`īnāt (pl. of ta`aiyun; but also used in the sing.), s.m. Appointments; appointment, service, duty; a garrison:—ta`ināt karnā, v.t. To appoint, depute, to send on duty; to enlist; to put in possession:—ta`ināt honā, v.n. To be appointed, be deputed, be sent on duty.
