िऽिवध tri-vidh, adj. Of three kinds; threefold, triple; in three ways:—tri-vidh-tāp, s.f. The three kinds of suffering (i.e. dehītāp, or that which is occasioned by the body; daivittāp, or that which comes from Providence, as calamity, etc.; and bhavatik-tāp, or that which arises from existence, orfrom contact with the world).
