बहना bahnā[S. वहनीयं , rt. वɯ], v.n. To flow; to go or swim with the stream; to float; to drift; to glide, slide; to run (as a sore); to blow (as a breeze); to pass, drive; to be carried away, be separated; to be lost, ruined, or destroyed; to be wasted, squandered, or dissipated; to melt, dissolve, become watery:—bah-jānā, v.n.=bahnā(esp. in an intens. sense); to run off or away; to blow away, etc.
