भीम bhīm, adj. & s.m. Fearful, terrible, terrific, horrible, dreadful, frightful, tremendous;—horror, terror; danger;—name of the second of the five Pānḍūprinces, the second brother of Yudhishṭhir; an epithet of Śiva:—bhīm-rathī, s.f. lit. 'The terrible night'; the seventh night of the seventh month in the seventy-seventh year of a man's life (supposed to be the ordinary period of human life); extreme old age, dotage:—bhīm-sen, s.m. lit. Having a terrible army'; name of the second son of Panḍu (=bhīm):—bhīm-senī, s.f. A kind of camphor.
