भःमी bhasmī, s.f. Ashes; ashes of a corpse;—place of cremation:—bhasmī-karaṇ, s.m. The act of reducing to ashes; completely consuming or burning; calcining:—bhasmī-kr̤it, part. Reduced to ashes calcined (as a metal).
