भद bhad (onomat., but cf. next), s.m. Soft-sounding blow, thud, thump; crash; sound of a falling body on soft ground (more com. bhadākā):—bhad-bhad, s.m. Reiterated thuds, etc. (see bhad); closely consecutive sounds of soft bodies (such as fruit, etc.) in falling:—bhad-se, adv. With a thud; with a crash.
