बाड़ा bāṛā[S. वाट+कः], s.m. Enclosed space, enclosure (=gherā), area; cemetery;—fence, hedge (=bāṛ); alms, charity (in this sense prob. connected withvaraṇam):—bāṛābāṅdhnā= bāṛbāṅdhnā, and bāṛhnā, q.q.v.
Origin: Hindi
