बाव, बाओ, bāv, bā`o[S. वात, rt. वा], s.f. Wind, air (syn. hawā); flatulency; rheumatism (=bā`e); the pox, syphilis; a bubo:—bā`o bāṅdhnā, To employ flattery or raillery as a means of overcoming an adversary:—bā`obatās (S. vāta+vāta+āsa), s.f.
