بانشا

बांसा bāṅsā[S. वंश+कः], s.m. Bridge of the nose; back-bone, spine (syn. rīṛh); the bamboo tube through which the seed descends in a drilling machine; a drill-plough;—a plant of the bamboo species (a variety of the Dendrocalamus Tulda or pekā-bāṅs) from which a red dye is extracted (syn. piyā-bāṅsā).
