bābat (for A. بابة ), s.f. Account, head, item (of account), article, business, affair, matter (=bāb);—postposn. On account (of, -kīor -ke?), for, concerning, respecting, as to, in the matter (of):—bābat-wār, adj. According to entry (=bāb-wār):—bābat-wārī, s.f. Anything which is registered or entered in a general statement of accounts: bābat-yāft, s.f. The particular items of an account, classified items (=bāb-yāft).
