اگاڑي

अगाड़ी agāṛī[Ap. Prk. अग्गअिडआ=S. अमक+र+इका], s.f.=آگا āgā, q.v.; money, etc. paid in advance, advances; onset, first charge; the fore-fetters of a horse;—adv. In front, before; forward, onward, further on, in advance (see āge):—agāṛī-pićhāṛī, s.f. The front and heel ropes with which a horse is fastened: agāṛīmārnā(-kī), To attack in front; to attack the advanced guard; to defeat (an enemy).
