अल्लड़ allaṛ, अलड़ alaṛ[S. अलम् +लल;—cf. the form allaṛh], adj. Boyish, childish; young; raw, inexperienced, inexpert; thoughtless; untaught, ignorant; untrained, undisciplined;—s.m. Youth, child, a mere boy (in contempt); young (of an animal), colt, etc.:—alaṛ-balaṛ, s.f. Childish talk, silly prattle; childishness, folly; trifling employment; frivolity.
