अलोप alop [S. आ+लोप, rt. लुप् ], part. adj. Disappeared; concealed, hidden; retired; out of sight; invisible, unseen, imperceptible, undiscernible; run out; defaced, destroyed:—alop-anjan, s.m. A collyrium, which, applied to the eyes of any one, renders him or her invisible:—alop-māyā, s.f. The mysteries of nature; the invisible power in nature:—alophonāor ho-jānā, v.n. To be concealed; to become invisible; to disappear, vanish, retire, get out of sight; to cease to be, become extinct.
